BLOCK Number 6 “IMMIDIATE EVALUATION”

In the real world, there are more chances to be selfish in speech than being more approachable to what another person feels. This happens just because people make no difference when communicating it treats.  Something really hard for people to do it’s the attempt to understand the thoughts, feelings, sensations,  perceptions and world-view of other folks around. The vast majority of the people fancy about regarding as good or acceptable and having disapprobation of what others say and do. This tendency to assess tends to be aggrandised when emotions and personal feelings are revealed. When people from other culture come to our country, we naturally feel up our culture as the best and the right one. This seems to well-educated people to be a complete narrow-mindedness. This outlook hinders open-mindedness and, as a consequence, the behaviour, possible attitudes and skills of the rest are judged from our own point of view rather than of what others´viewpoints consist. We should home in on what cross-culturally is permitted to do.

ACCULTURATION AS A RESPOND TO WHY LEARNING A SECOND CULTURE

This term is used; when referring to a new culture, foreknowledge is being taught. This tends to occur, mainly, if you are living in a new country that has got different convictions of the life, whether or not, you are visiting or living in the new place. Acculturation is said most of the cases; as if, we adopt and adapt to a second surrounding without forgetting or abandoning our native root. Acculturation directly refers to the constant prominence, participation, interconnectedness of members of particular cultures immersed in it; therefore, there are permanence and cultural background. People reveal protectionism towards new attitudes in current affairs. The behavioural changes and cultural identity are reflected on agreement and efficiency from the whole community. To summarise, This acculturating process is dependent on the quickness that people use to negotiate in a foreign land and not to be discriminated by proper residents. Not only, the autonomous social thinking has importance; upmarket or downmarket properties from the area will make you belong to a reasonable status, people will behave according to view of the culture.

TIPS THAT PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW TO REACH ACCULTURATION

1. Do not leave the native cultural identity.
2. Continue to self-identify with your home country or native land.
3. Enjoy the new culture and know it well, but yours first.
4. Cultural background influences our expectations at an unconcious level.
5. Be cognizant of all the elements that the new culture needs.
 6. Be aware of judgements that are off of the real context.
7. Our predictions are not necessarily the best in new places because of our previous background of our fatherland can be wrong.

STUMBLING BLOCK NUMBER 5, ANXIETY

Anxiety is one the most common states that people tend to suffer from when they are exposed to a circunstance of stress in their body. This block is considered the most important one due to the others implied that are upheld by stressful issues. The inner turmoil which is usually by nervousness, is the sort of thing that makes you go up and down, pace back and forth, have complaints and rumination upon what is making you feel in that way. When students are in front of a situation that requires public speaking, Anxiety is interfering with the student´s big break, showing fear to repetition and production of lexicon. The uneasiness by which this sensation of anxiety is shown is what teachers have to combine with at all times into classrooms. Even, the teacher deals with restlesness and fatigue that are caused by this particular matther. If you are a learner learning how to be part of any culture, remember that (our world is a multicultural one ) and this anxiety is part of our everyday life when knowing about a country or new place. This process of getting to know about a new culture is called ACCULTURATION. From here on, we´ll dicuss this topic or new term more carefully.
